Wooden Or Aluminium

Wooden Blind

Wooden blinds are suitable for most rooms and add warmth and insulation to the room. Wooden blinds are usually constructed from bass wood which is light yet strong. It also has a distinctive grain which when stained gives a natural and elegant finish. See our Wooden Venetian blinds

Aluminium Blind

Aluminium blinds are more resistant to damp and are more suitable in damp locations such as kitchens or bathrooms. They are available in a range of finishes including wood effect,metallic and perforated. See our Aluminium Venetian blinds

Slat Size

Selecting the size of slat can also have various benefits. Large slat sizes(50mm) can provide more privacy as less slats are required to cover the window.The amount of light entering the room is also better for larger slat sizes when the blind is tilted in the open position. They also cover less area when the slats are stacked to the top of the window. Smaller slat sizes(25mm) are better for small windows and french doors. Most of our blinds are available in 35mm which is a compromise of the all the factors mentioned above.
